CYBERSECURITY 1 at Chelsea High School

Requirements: Grades 11-12 only, Application Required, Full Year Program

Cybersecurity lays a foundation for understanding cyber law and policy, Linux, networking technology basics, risk assessment, cryptography, and a variety of cybersecurity tools – all the essential knowledge and skills needed to begin a future in the cybersecurity workforce. Not only does Cybersecurity introduce the breadth of cybersecurity concepts and skills to students, but it also prepares them to verify their technical know-how through the CompTIA Security+ certification. Students will also learn pre-requisite skills by working through Cisco Skills for All courses to be introduced into the basics of networking. This will lay a foundation for understanding Cybersecurity topics at a deeper level.

CYBERSECURITY 2 at Chelsea High School

Requirements: Grade 12 only, Application Required, Full Year Program, Successful Completion of Cybersecurity 1

Students will have the opportunity to further their networking and cybersecurity skills. Students can venture down the path to complete their Cisco Certified Network Administrator, or begin working on earing a CCST Networking or CCST Cybersecurity through the Cisco Skills for All course catalog.
