MEET YOUR PRINCIPAL, EMILY SICKLER
Dear Harvest Elementary Families,
My name is Emily Sickler and I am delighted to introduce myself as your new principal of Harvest Elementary School. I am honored to be selected to positively lead, learn, and have fun alongside the students, staff, and families in this vibrant learning community.
My journey as an educator started at the University of Michigan when I student taught in Kindergarten. After college, I was able to long-term sub in Young 5s, 1st, and 3rd grade before settling into 5th grade where I worked for 8 years. I also had the opportunity to teach 1st grade for 3 years. In 2016, I was hired as the assistant principal for Saline Middle School.
Together, we will work collaboratively to provide ALL Harvest students the best opportunities to feel valued, safe, and invested in their learning. As principal, I will always be open to your input and feedback as we work together. Please connect via email, by phone, or make an appointment to meet in person. Weekly updates, our school’s Facebook page, and Twitter are additional ways to connect.
