After-school and Evening Activities Canceled
Due to predicted weather conditions and the current Winter Weather Advisory, Saline Area Schools is canceling after-school and evening activities on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
Aftercare programs will continue as scheduled. Please exercise caution when traveling today.

Crews have had a chance to clear snow from our parking lots and drives. High School athletics after-school and District-wide evening activities are able to run today as scheduled. Students and families should check with their coach/advisor about the status of specific events. Wednesday, February 12: After-school and evening activities are canceled.
Thursday, February 13: Saline Area Schools will be CLOSED. Elementary and Middle School activities that are scheduled to run immediately after-school Thursday are also canceled. A decision about all other extra-curricular and athletic activities will be made by mid-day Thursday.
Saline Area Schools will be closed Thursday, February 6, 2025 due to icy road conditions.
Elementary and Middle School activities that are scheduled to run immediately after school are also canceled. Because road conditions are expected to improve, High School athletics and District-wide evening activities are planned to run as scheduled. Students and families are encouraged to check-in with their coach/advisor about the status of afternoon and evening events and activities.
Due to extreme cold temperatures, Saline Area Schools will be closed BOTH Tuesday, January 21 and Wednesday, January 22.
All after-school and evening activities will be canceled today, Tuesday, January 21 while the cold weather advisory continues.
On Wednesday, January 22: After-school and evening athletics and activities may continue at the discretion of the Athletic Director, Community Education Director, building administrators, coaches, and club advisors. Students and parents should watch for communications from their respective coach/advisor specific to events scheduled on Wednesday.
Due to a power outage in the area, there is no school at Pleasant Ridge Elementary today, Tuesday, May 28. All other Saline Area Schools buildings are open today as scheduled.
Transfer buses heading to Pleasant Ridge after school will operate as scheduled today. Please note that due to fewer riders on the bus, 4th and 5th grade students in the Pleasant Ridge boundary could arrive home sooner than usual today.
