Saline Middle School is an amazing place, full of growth, creativity and change as students leave the world of elementary education behind and prepare for the challenges of high school. The SMS special education team is dedicated to supporting students as they learn the life lessons and meet the academic challenges that will help them become successful adults.
Our team includes highly qualified, energetic and positive staff who provide a full range of services including teacher consultant services in the general education setting and resource room services in special education classes that include math, language arts, study skills, functional academics, life skills and social skills. In addition to certified teaching staff, our team includes speech language therapists, school social workers, school psychologist, an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, and paraprofessional aids.
