    Title IX

    Title IX:  "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied from participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."  Title IX has a broad application to include academics, extracurriculars, education, athletics, and all programs, on school transportation, in school-sponsored programs taking place at another location, etc.
